The Linders Health Institute™ to Present Infection Control Risk Assessment Course
The Linders Health Institute™ will be presenting a two-day course introducing and reviewing infection control in medical facilities as it applies to the healthcare construction, HVAC, remediation and Indoor Air Quality professionals on April 8- 9, May 20-21 2010 in Lake Mary, Florida. The classes qualify for 15 hours of ACAC certification renewal credits. Credits have been applied for CIH, HVAC, contractors and RNs.
Infection Control Risk Assessment for healthcare construction including long term care facilities points to the significance of exposure risks to contamination during construction and the importance of understanding the issue as it pertains to the professional. The student will gain an understanding of Joint Commission’s Environment of Care mandates for the healthcare industry. The course presents current issues and Best Practices to prevent exposure risks and show legal due diligence and compliance. The professional develops a competence of the process and how it affects their profession from a performance standpoint, client retention, and legal risk.
